| If you
would like to consider becoming a client of the firm,
please call us at 617.423.0099. You may speak with any
of the lawyers or assistants about making an appointment.
You can also e-mail an attorney directly or fill out
and submit a contact form. There is no charge for an
inquiry about the firm.
When you make an initial call to any lawyer, the rules
of confidentiality require that even your initial inquiry
be kept confidential.
The cost of an initial conference with a lawyer at
Margaret S. Travers, P.C. is limited to the charge for
one hour of that lawyer’s time. We expect that
an initial conference to discuss a divorce case will
take about 1½ hours, as the client needs to educate
the lawyer about the client’s personal and financial
situation before the lawyer can describe how the law
and procedure will likely apply to that situation.
You have the right to interview more than one lawyer
about your case. Interviewing at more than one firm
is likely to give you a better basis for selecting a
lawyer with appropriate experience, as well as finding
a person with whom you feel comfortable.
